”I could just about hear Burl Ives or the actor that used to narrate for Walt Disney waaaay on back there telling this story around the campfire. A dark tale with humor injected in places. It was more unsettling than scary, but it had enough chills that I didn't care to read just before bedtime. Also left open for a sequel should the author decide to write one.
